A perfect seafood dish: steamed fish with white wine.

When you think of seafood, what dish comes to mind? If you're looking for something luxurious, yet easy to make, consider steaming your fish with white wine. This simple recipe results in a moist and tender fish fillet, accented by the delicate flavor of white wine.

To start, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. While it's heating up, prepare your fish. You can either use a whole fish or fillets - whichever you prefer. If you're using fillets, they'll typically need to be no more than 1-inch thick. If using a whole fish, clean it and remove any visible fat or bones.

Once your oven is heated, place the fish in a baking dish and add white wine until the fish is nearly covered. You can use any type of white wine you like - I prefer using chardonnay or pinot grigio. Add some fresh herbs such as thyme or rosemary, if desired.

Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through. Serve with some roasted vegetables or a simple salad for a complete meal.

This elegant seafood dish will be sure to impress your friends and family - give it a try today!
